Pilot: coordination table
with mandate

Foundation Zorgfuik is investigating whether an independent coordination table can break through complex stuck care situations faster and more humanely — not as an extra desk, but as a place where overview, mandate and decision-making come together.

What does the pilot investigate?

🔎

Recognise

Can we identify stuck situations earlier, before the damage escalates? Which signals are decisive?

⚖️

Assess

Can we distinguish between situations where waiting is uncomfortable and situations where waiting is dangerous? That requires different prioritisation.

Break through

What form of coordination and mandate is needed to create movement where consultation stalls?

🧩 Now: everyone holds a piece

Separate desks and waiting lists
Forms, referrals, transfers
No clear single owner
Patient or carer must coordinate
Coordination without mandate = just more meetings

🧭 Needed: one coordinator with mandate

Overview of all involved parties
Mandate to accelerate decisions
Skip unnecessary steps where possible
One clear route forward
Not another entry point — an exit
👥

Who are we looking for?

People with lived experience and carers
Healthcare professionals (GP, mental health, social care)
Municipal staff and policymakers
Researchers and privacy/legal experts
Funders and grant specialists
Register as participant
