About Caretrap | Stichting Zorgfuik

A foundation focused on the gap between responsibilities.

People do not become trapped by waiting lists or rules alone. They become trapped when nobody protects the full journey and nobody has enough authority to break the standstill.

Why we exist

Many organisations complete their part. The person is left carrying the whole journey.

Caretrap is developing a method to make that process gap visible and testable. We do not collect stories simply to accumulate them, but to improve research questions and keep claims within the evidence.

Change

Findings are translated into proposals, pilots and measurable criteria that must work beyond the website.

Our analytical standard

Not every story is evidence. Not every report is impact.

We make the difference between what we hear, what we know, what we infer and what we propose visible.

Signal

An experience or recurring observation that deserves investigation.

Fact

Verifiable information with a traceable source or measurement method.

Analysis

A reasoned interpretation that includes limitations and alternative explanations.

Proposal

An intervention that only has value when it is workable and testable.

What we do

Investigate recurring patterns and restore ownership.

We connect lived experience to process analysis, public explanation, research, proposals and, where possible, pilots.

What we are not

Not a care provider, crisis service or complaints desk.

We do not take over individual cases or target individual professionals. We look for patterns, responsibilities and workable ways out.
