Raised during the first GoFundMe phase, largely through the founder’s own network.
Do not just say we are moving. Show what exists.
Caretrap | Stichting Zorgfuik is being established, but the substantive work has already begun. This page records what has been delivered, what is underway and which next steps still require funding, expertise or governance capacity.
Progress is more than activity. A website, video or report only counts when it contributes to recognition, insight, reach, a stronger proposal or demonstrable change.
What already exists.
No inflated impact figures and no decorative milestones. These are the components that have demonstrably been built, published or put into development.
Caretrap, I am not a number, Medicijnfuik and Oxycodon.online as distinct public entry points.
Videos in the current library, providing explanation, recognition and routes to action.
Two publications in development: The process gap, review version 0.98, and the oxycodone publication on the route from prescription to black market.
Development in concrete steps.
This timeline is updated when new results, documents or decisions become available. Accountability should be continuous, not polished afterwards.
Caretrap as a recognition and signalling platform
The core platform shows how people can become trapped between care, rules, desks and responsibilities. People can share experiences and support a petition calling for genuine ownership with mandate.
Targeted projects around recognisable system traps
I am not a number, Medicijnfuik and Oxycodon.online translate the broad problem into concrete themes. They reveal recurring mechanisms: fragmentation, protocol-driven processes, missing ownership and people being forced to organise the connections themselves.
Video as an accessible layer alongside long-form content
Video explains themes, makes experiences recognisable and provides an accessible entry point for people who do not read a long report or webpage. Role-specific board videos can be added later.
From signals to publications and possible solutions
The first research publication develops a method for examining process gaps, unmanaged waiting and fragmented responsibility. It is being refined before publication as an accessible HTML version and PDF.
Formal foundation, governance and transparency
The foundation is being designed to continue the initiative sustainably, independently and accountably. This includes board composition, financial reporting, privacy, policy documents and a clear distinction between signalling, research and any future pilots.
What we hold ourselves accountable for.
Not every result is system change. We therefore distinguish between reach, knowledge, organisational development and practical application.
Recognition and reach
People should be able to recognise their situation, understand that the problem is not always individual failure and know where to share experiences or support public action.
Explore Caretrap →Evidence-informed patterns
Individual stories are not presented as proof. We look for recurring mechanisms, connect them to processes and policy and distinguish facts, signals, hypotheses and conclusions.
View the publications →Practical proposals
Describing a problem is not enough. Solutions must address ownership, mandate, handovers, escalation, funding and testing in practice.
View the impact model →What is needed to move forward.
The next steps are deliberately concrete: components that can be built, decided, investigated or tested.
Complete the first publication, conduct editorial and methodological review and release an accessible PDF.
In progressBuild an independent, functioning board with clear roles, integrity safeguards and realistic commitments.
Actively recruitingIntroduce a simple but serious progress report covering reach, signals, publications, partnerships and follow-up actions.
Next stepCan you identify a missing step or help accelerate one?
We are not looking for an applause committee. We do want people who can demonstrably strengthen research, governance, fundraising, legal safeguards, communication or delivery.
